Research notes & manufacturer fitting tools
Research checked September 20–28, 2026. Model years are shown only where established. Prices refer to a single dozen in USD, except the explicitly labeled Bridgestone launch-price snapshot. Unknown prices are not scored.
Soft, mid-high and other brand-specific terms sometimes need simplification to fit our scale. Those mappings are marked in each ball’s evidence. Srixon’s six-box spin charts are mapped to low (1–2), mid (3–4) and high (5–6). Manufacturer scales are not standardized across brands. Other mappings and remaining gaps are disclosed per ball.
External links open the manufacturer’s own website and may require an internet connection. BallMatch does not reproduce their proprietary fitting algorithms.
